JUDGMENT
The judgment of the tribunal is that the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant £751.06 in satisfaction of the claimant’s claim for breach of contract and unlawful deduction from wages.

The claimant appeared in person.
The respondent was represented by Mr J McCrystal of the respondent company.
1. The claimant claimed payment for unpaid wages which was characterised as a breach of contract claim and a claim for unlawful deduction from wages.
2. The respondent did not enter a response and therefore did not take in the proceedings.
3. In the absence of a response I made a Default Judgement in favour of the claimant on liability only for breach of contract and unlawful deduction from wages on
11 December 2019.
4. A remedy hearing was fixed for 7 February 2020.
5. Having heard evidence from the claimant in relation to his claim I was satisfied that the claimant is owed £751.06 for unpaid wages which may also be characterised as a breach of contract.
6. An oral judgment was given at the hearing for the tribunal’s judgement.
7. This is a relevant judgment for the purposes of the Industrial Tribunals (Interest) Order (Northern Ireland) 1990.
