The claimant appeared and was self-representing.
The respondent was represented by Mr G Ward, solicitor, DWF (Northern Ireland) LLP.
At the end of the hearing the tribunal announced the decision which was as follows:-
(a) The claimant's claim for wages is well-founded and it is ordered that the respondent shall pay to the claimant the sum of £241.62.
(b) The claimant's holiday pay claim is well-founded and it is ordered that the respondent shall pay to the claimant the sum of £516.67.
REASONS
1. By way of email dated 10 April 2019, the respondent's representative confirmed to the tribunal that the respondent accepted liability. Therefore the only issue to be determined was remedy.
2. At hearing, the parties accepted that the claimant was entitled to wages in a sum of £241.62 and annual leave of 11 days in the sum of £516.67.
3. This is a relevant decision for the purposes of the Industrial Tribunals (Interest) Order (Northern Ireland) 1990.
