CONSTITUTION OF TRIBUNAL
Employment Judge (sitting alone): Employment Judge Browne
APPEARANCES:
The claimant was self-represented.
The respondent was not present or represented.
1. The relevant time limit for the respondent to present a response has expired. No response has been presented.
2. It having been determined that a default judgment was not appropriate, I conducted a hearing by receiving information from the claimant and examining documentation brought by her to the hearing.
3. As expressed in my reasons delivered orally at the hearing, I am satisfied from this information and from the written materials that the respondent’s failure to pay to the claimant 23 days’ holiday pay was a breach of her contract of employment to a total amount of £1,156.00. The respondent is therefore ordered to pay £1,156.00 to the claimant.
4. This is a relevant decision for the purposes of the Industrial Tribunals (Interest) Order (Northern Ireland) 1990.
