The decision of the tribunal is that the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant compensation for unfair dismissal amounting to £12,648.73; holiday pay of £1,923.00 and notice pay for four weeks which has been awarded as part of the compensatory element in the unfair dismissal compensation.

1. The claimant brought claims for unfair dismissal, automatically unfair dismissal, notice pay, holiday pay and breach of contract.
2. The respondent did not enter a response to this claim.
3. I am satisfied that the claimant was unfairly dismissed and automatically unfairly dismissed and is entitled to compensation of £12,648.73; holiday pay of £1,923.00 and four weeks’ notice pay which has been included in the compensatory element under the unfair dismissal compensation and therefore cannot be awarded for a second time. I order the respondent to make those payments.

5. This is a relevant decision for the purposes of the Industrial Tribunals (Interest) Order (Northern Ireland) 1990.
