THE INDUSTRIAL TRIBUNALS
CASE REF: 1488/11
CLAIMANT: Christine Ozdemir
RESPONDENTS: 1. Eamonn Coy
2. GMB Trade Union
DECISION ON PRE HEARING REVIEW
The claimant’s application to amend her claim to include a further claim that the first respondent treated her less favourably on grounds of sex than he treated Messrs Lynch, Coyle and McMurray, by processing their expenses claims but not hers, is refused.
Constitution of Tribunal:
President: Eileen McBride (sitting alone)
Appearances:
The claimant was represented by Mr M Corrigan, Solicitor, of John McGaile Kelly & Co.
The respondents were represented by Mr B Mulqueen, Barrister-at-Law, instructed by Francis Hanna & Company, Solicitors.
Reasons were given orally at the Hearing.
Mr Mulqueen made an application for costs in respect of this Hearing. I directed that as the claimant was not aware that this application was going to be made that it would be heard by me following the conclusion of the substantive case. I also directed the respondents to set out in writing the reasons for the application to the claimant together with a breakdown of the costs sought.
