AT
HEARING
1. The
claimant lodged a claim form on the 31 July 2012 claiming monies owed
under the Working Time Directive. However no details of the monies owed were
included in the claim form.
2. The
respondent presented a response on the 3 September 2012 refuting the
claim.
3. In
view of the fact that the claimant did not appear and was not represented the Tribunal
considered Rule 27(5) and (6) of the Industrial Tribunals (Constitution
and Rules of Procedure) Northern Ireland 2005.
4. Having
considered the information available to it from the Office file and having
noted that the claimant had been duly sent the Notice of Hearing and had not
contacted the Office thereafter the Tribunal dismissed the claim.
