The decision of the tribunal is that the claimant is entitled to £13,269.00 statutory redundancy pay, £3,738.36 statutory minimum notice pay and £61.37 unauthorised deduction from wages.

The respondent did not appear and was not represented.
1. The claimant had 34 completed years of service, was aged 61 years at the time of a no-notice redundancy dismissal and was paid £442.30 gross weekly pay.
The claimant is therefore entitled to statutory redundancy pay as follows:-
30 x £442.30 = £13,269.00
2. The claimant received no notice pay and was entitled to a weekly pay of £311.52 net. The claimant is therefore entitled to statutory notice pay as follows:-
12 x £311.53 = £ 3,738.36
3. The claimant is also entitled to an unauthorised deduction from wages amounting to £61.37.
4. This is a relevant decision for the purposes of the Industrial Tribunals (Interest) Order (Northern Ireland) 1990.
