1. The title of the respondent was amended to that now shown. Adrian Gamble was dismissed as a party to the proceedings as the claimant’s employer was AGG (NI) Ltd. The claimant was employed by the respondent as a driver from 15 November 2004 until 23 August 2011, the effective date of termination (“the EDT”). At the EDT the claimant was aged 56 years and had 6 full years’ service. His gross weekly pay was £300.00 and net weekly pay was £244.00.
2. For the reasons given fully at the hearing I am satisfied that the claimant is entitled to a redundancy payment of £2,700.00 and £1,464.00 notice pay, making a total award of £4,164.00.
3. This is a relevant decision for the purposes of the Industrial Tribunals (Interest) Order (Northern Ireland) 1990.
