1. This case had been adjourned on 14 December 2011 to allow the claimant to appear with an interpreter, his English being very bad.
2. The claimant and his companion, who was an English speaker, were informed at the first hearing, of the date of the adjourned hearing, being 5 January 2012.
3. On the 5 January despite the fact that an interpreter was present neither the claimant nor the respondent was present.
4. The tribunal read the claimant’s written claim submitted in his original application to the tribunal but it disclosed no discernable grounds of complaint that could be ruled upon by a tribunal without further evidence. In the absence of any evidence supporting the claimant’s claim, the tribunal dismisses the claim.
