The decision of the tribunal is that the claimant is entitled to a statutory redundancy payment of £892.50, calculated as set out in the decision, together with £400.00 for unpaid wages, making a total of £1,292.50.

The respondent did not appear and had not entered a response.
1. The claimant was employed by the respondent from 14 November 2005 to 21 August 2009 when he was made redundant. His date of birth is 4 December 1984.
2. He did not receive any statutory redundancy payment, or payment for his final week’s wages or his lying week.
3. His gross wages were £255.00 per week and in the absence of any wage slips the tribunal fixes his net weekly wages at £200.00 per week.
4. The claimant is entitled to a statutory redundancy payment calculated as follows:-
4 complete years service at age 25
31/2 x £255.00 = £892.50
5. The claimant is entitled to payment for his last week’s wages and for his lying week amounting in total to £400.00.
6. This is a relevant decision for the purposes of the Industrial Tribunals (Interest) Order (Northern Ireland) 1990.
