The claim
1. In these proceedings, the claimant makes a claim for redundancy payment. The claimant confirmed that his claim for payment in lieu of notice has been met in full and he withdraws that claim.
The outcome
2. I am satisfied that the claimant is entitled to a redundancy payment.
Facts

The claimant worked for the respondent from 10 March 2000 until 10 June 2008. He was made redundant on the latter date. He had eight years’ completed service. |

He was aged over 41 for all his employed years with this respondent. |

|
|

(iii) |
His average gross pay was £203.40 per week. |
|
|
|
|
(iv) |
The appropriate multiplier for calculating this redundancy payment is 8 x 1.5 =12. |

(v) |
His entitlement is therefore £203.40 x 12 = £2,440.80. |
