THE INDUSTRIAL TRIBUNALS
CASE REF: 571/06
CLAIMANT: Beverley Thompson
RESPONDENT: Moy Park Ltd
DECISION
- The claimant's application for interim relief pursuant to Article 163 of The Employment Rights (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 was withdrawn at today's hearing.
- The claimant shall have permission to file an amended claim form containing full details of the allegations that trade union activity was the real reason behind her dismissal by the respondent. The amended claim form is to be filed and served by 4pm on 7 July 2006.
- The respondent shall have permission to file and serve by 4pm on 4 August 2006, an amended response form in reply to the amended claim form.
- The orders at paragraphs 2 and 3 above are made by consent.
The respondent indicated that an application for an extension of the deadline will be made in the event that the forthcoming holiday period renders it impossible to file the amended response form by 4 August 2006. The claimant's representative indicated that in those circumstances the claimant was unlikely to oppose any application for an extension of the time allowed under paragraph 3.
