THE INDUSTRIAL TRIBUNALS
CASE REF: 256/06
CLAIMANT: Diane McClean
RESPONDENT: Eunan McKenna
DECISION ON REMEDY
The decision of the tribunal is that the respondent is to pay to the claimant the sum of £465.00 in respect of unpaid holiday pay and notice pay.
Constitution of Tribunal:
Chairman (sitting alone): Mr Buchanan
Appearances:
The claimant appeared in person.
The respondent did not appear, nor was he represented.
- A Default Judgment in this matter issued on 20 April 2006. The claimant's claims in respect of unpaid holiday pay and notice pay were found to be well-founded and it was ordered that any remedies to which the claimant was entitled should be determined at a hearing.
- I am satisfied from the evidence of the claimant that a sum of £465.00 remains owing to her in respect of five days accrued holiday pay and one week's notice pay, and I order that the respondent do pay the said sum of £465.00 to the claimant.
