JUDGMENT
THE BAILIFF:
1. When you appeared before the Court in 2004, the Crown Advocate moved for a sentence of 2 years' youth detention for all the many offences that you had committed. The Court imposed a Probation Order and a Community Service Order and some of that community service was performed but not all.
2. Then you committed a further offence in the middle of last year and you came back before the Court on 5th August and the Court extended the Community Service Order and warned you that it must be completed because it was in your interests to do so.
3. The Court cannot allow its Orders to be ignored by people who appear before them, and the Court is bound to impose a custodial sentence.
4. Before we do that I want to make it clear to you that when you come out of La Moye you will be able to rely upon all the assistance which you are able to rely upon at the moment from the Probation Service, the Drug and Alcohol Service, and the Consultant Psychologist, and all these people will be there to give you any assistance for which you ask. We hope that you will ask for it because what is important from your point of view is that your relationship with your child Ryan should not be affected and that really is in your own hands.
5. We are going to revoke the Probation Order, revoke the Community Service Order and you will be sentenced to 1 month's imprisonment in their place.
