In re Z Trust 2016 (1) JLR 132 (22 February 2016)
Trusts-appointment of trustees-validity of appointment-invalid appointment-if appointor breaches fiduciary duty (e.g. power of appointment not exercised in interests of all beneficiaries; appointor failed to obtain professional advice on tax consequences; or irrational), court may declare appointment invalid under inherent jurisdiction and Trusts (Jersey) Law 1984, art. 51-appointment may also be voidable under art. 47G if appointor mistaken and under art. 47H if appointor failed to take into account true effect of actions
