Conflict of Laws-recognition of foreign proceedings-appointment of receiver-under Bankruptcy (Desastre) (Jersey) Law 1990, art. 49, court may recognize appointment of joint fixed charge receivers by holder of valid judicial hypothec over Jersey immovable property of insolvent English company-may authorize them to manage and sell Jersey property-although Jersey law requires creditor to pursue established remedies of degrèvement, desastre, etc., under art. 49(2) court can also exercise powers of requesting court-as company insolvent, important to minimize costs
