I, LEO VARADKAR, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by
Section 3
of the
European Communities Act
(No. 27 of 1972) and for the purpose of giving full effect to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/442 of 11 March 20211
and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/521 of 24 March 20212
, as amended by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/1071 of 29 June 20213
hereby make the following regulations:

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (COVID-19 Vaccines Export Authorisation) (No. 4) (Temporary Amendment) Regulations 2021.
|
| |
(2) These Regulations shall cease to have effect on 30 September 2021.
|
| |
2. The European Union (COVID-19 Vaccines Export Authorisation) (No. 2) Regulations 2021 shall have effect as if the following were substituted for Regulation 4(1):
|

Where the Minister is satisfied that the requirements of the following will be complied with:
|
| |
(a) these Regulations,
|
| |
(b) the Commission Implementing Regulation, and
|
| |
(c) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/521 of 24 March 2021, as amended by Commission Implementing Regulation 2021/1071 of 29 June 2021.
|
| |
he or she may, subject to these Regulations, grant an authorisation to a person for the purposes of Article 1 of the Commission Implementing Regulation.
|
