I, LEO VARADKAR, Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 13 of the Road Transport Act 2011 (No. 31 of 2011), with the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, hereby make the following regulations: |

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Road Transport Operator Licensing (Fees) Regulations 2013. |
||
2. These Regulations come into operation on 30th September 2013. |
||
3. The fee in respect of an application for, the grant, amendment, duplication or replacement of a licensing document is that set out in Schedule 1. |
||
4. The fee to be paid directly to the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Ireland with an application to sit an examination for a certificate of professional competence, for the approval of a certificate of professional competence training facility or for the grant of a duplicate or replacement certificate of professional competence is that set out in Schedule 2. |
||
5. The Road Transport Acts (Fees) Regulations 1994 ( S.I. No. 141 of 1994 ) are revoked. |

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |

The purpose of these Regulations is to amend fees for road transport operator licences and related issues including applications to the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Ireland for examinations and certificates. |
||
The Regulations also repeal S.I. 141 of 1994. |
