WHEREAS ASC Airport Services Consolidated Ltd. and DAA Airport Services Ltd. are subsidiaries of Dublin Airport Authority plc to which section 9 of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act 1988 (No. 13 of 1988), applies: |

AND WHEREAS Dublin Airport Authority plc and representatives of employees of that company have jointly made a request in writing to the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport for the making of this Order, and that company has sent a copy of the request to me, RICHARD BRUTON, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation: |

NOW, I, RICHARD BRUTON, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the said section 9 (as adapted by the Enterprise, Trade and Innovation (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 (S.I. 245 of 2011)), and after consultation with the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform and the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, hereby make the following order: |

1. This Order may be cited as the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act 1988 (Section 9) Order 2013. |
||
2. Every employee of ASC Airport Services Consolidated Ltd. shall, for the purposes of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Acts 1977 to 2001, be regarded as an employee of Dublin Airport Authority plc. |
||
3. Every employee of DAA Airport Services Ltd. shall, for the purposes of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Acts 1977 to 2001, be regarded as an employee of Dublin Airport Authority plc. |
||
