I, MICHEÁL MARTIN, Minister for Foreign Affairs, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the section 28 of the Passports Act 2008 (No. 4 of 2008), and with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following regulations: |
||
1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Diplomatic and Consular Fees (Amendment) Regulations 2010. |
||
(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 September 2010. |
||
2.The Diplomatic and Consular Fees Regulations 2001 ( S.I. No. 117 of 2001 ) (as amended by the Diplomatic and Consular Fees (Amendment) Regulations 2009 ( S.I. No. 21 of 2009 )) are amended in Part I of the Second Schedule by substituting "or within five days" for "or on the day" in column (2) at Reference Numbers 8 and 9. |

The Minister for Finance consents to the making of the foregoing Regulations. |

The purpose of these Regulations is to amend the Diplomatic and Consular Fees Regulations 2001, as amended, to provide for changes in the fee structure for passports. |
