I, MARY COUGHLAN, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2(1) of the Investment Funds, Companies and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2005 (No. 12 of 2005), hereby order as follows: |

1. This Order may be cited as the Investment Funds, Companies and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2005 (Commencement) Order 2009. |
||
2. The 1st day of September 2009 is appointed as the day on which sections 59 and 60 of the Investment Funds, Companies and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2005 (No. 12 of 2005) shall come into operation. |

This Order fixes 1 September 2009 as the date on which sections 59 and 60 of the Act comes into operation. These provisions allow for the reservation of a company name for a specified period of time prior to incorporation. |
