MARINE (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) (NO. 2) ORDER, 1995.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for the Marine and in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Marine (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order, 1995.

2. The powers and duties of the Minister for the Marine conferred on him by or under the Acts specified in the Schedule to this Order are hereby delegated to Eamon Gilmore, Minister of State at the Department of the Marine.

SCHEDULE.

Fisheries Acts, 1959 to 1994, in so far as they relate to inland fisheries, aquaculture and the marine environment;

Marine Institute Act, 1991 (No. 2 of 1991);

Sea Pollution Act, 1991 (No. 27 of 1991);

Dumping at Sea Act, 1981 (No. 8 of 1981);

Oil Pollution of the Sea (Civil Liability and Compensation) Act, 1988 (No. 11 of 1988);

Pilotage Act, 1913, in so far as it relates to port development;

Harbours (Regulations of Rates) Act, 1934 (No. 2 of 1934), in so far as it relates to port development;

Harbours Acts, 1946 to 1976 in so far as they relate to port development;

Free Ports Act 1986 (No. 6 of 1986), in so far as it relates to port development;

Dun Laoghaire Harbour Acts, 1990 and 1994;

Foreshore Acts, 1933 and 1992.
