S.I. No. 216/1991:

VIDEO RECORDINGS ACT, 1989 (COMMENCEMENT) (No. 3) ORDER, 1991.

VIDEO RECORDINGS ACT, 1989 (COMMENCEMENT) (No. 3) ORDER, 1991.

I, RAY BURKE, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 35 of the Video Recordings Act, 1989 (No. 22 of 1989), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Video Recordings Act, 1989 (Commencement) (No. 3) Order, 1991.

2. The 26th day of July, 1991, is hereby fixed as the day on which sections 7 (other than subsection (3)), 8, 9, 10 (other than paragraph (a) of subsection (4)), 11 (other than paragraph (a) of subsection (1)) and 15 to 17 of the Video Recordings Act, 1989 (No. 22 of 1989), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order provides for the commencement of sections 7 (other than subsection (3)), 8, 9, 10 (other than paragraph (a) of subsection (4)), 11 (other than paragraph (a) of subsection (1)) and 15 to 17 of the Video Recordings Act, 1989 (No. 22 of 1989), shall come into operation.
