S.I. No. 51/1989:

INTERNATIONAL CARRIAGE OF PERISHABLE FOODSTUFFS ACT, 1987 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1989.

INTERNATIONAL CARRIAGE OF PERISHABLE FOODSTUFFS ACT, 1987 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1989.

I, JOHN P. WILSON, Minister for Tourism and Transport, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 1 of the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs Act, 1987 (No. 20 of 1987), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs Act, 1987 (Commencement) Order, 1989.

2. The 22nd day of March, 1989, is hereby appointed as the day on which the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs Act, 1987 (No. 20 of 1987), shall come into operation.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 21st day of March, 1989.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order, made by the Minister for Tourism and Transport, brings the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs Act, 1987 (No. 20 of 1987), into operation on 22nd March, 1989.
