INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ACT (SECTION 31) ORDER, 1987.

INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ACT (SECTION 31) ORDER, 1987.

I, MICHAEL NOONAN, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 31 of the Industrial Development Act, 1986 (No. 9 of 1986), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Development Act (Section 31) Order, 1987.

2. The State-sponsored body set out in the Schedule to this Order is hereby specified for the purposes of section 31 (1) of the Industrial Development Act, 1986 .

The National Development Corporation Limited.

GIVEN under my Official Seal this 21st day of January, 1987.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of this Order is to provide that the State sponsored body referred to in the Schedule is consulted in cases where the Industrial Development Authority proposes to purchase or take shares in an undertaking or otherwise for the purposes of Section 31 of the Industrial Development Act 1986 .
