CORAS BEOSTOIC AGUS FEOLA ACT, 1979. (LEVY ON SLAUGHTERED OR EXPORTED LIVESTOCK) ORDER, 1985.

CORAS BEOSTOIC AGUS FEOLA ACT, 1979. (LEVY ON SLAUGHTERED OR EXPORTED LIVESTOCK) ORDER, 1985.

I, AUSTIN DEASY, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 28 (3) of the Coras Beostoic agus Feola Act, 1979 (No. 25 of 1979), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Coras Beostoic agus Feola Act, 1979 (Levy on Slaughtered or Exported Livestock) Order, 1985.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1986.

3. The amount of levy payable under section 28 of the Coras Beostoic agus Feola Act, 1979 (No. 25 of 1979), shall, in lieu of the sum (as varied by the Coras Beostoic agus Feola Act, 1979 (Levy on Slaughtered or Exported Livestock) Order, 1982 ( S.I. No. 231 of 1982 )) specified in subsection (2) (a), be £1 per animal and, in lieu of the sum (as so varied) specified in subsection (2) (b), be 10p per animal.

4. The Coras Beostoic agus Feola Act, 1979 (Levy on Slaughtered or Exported Livestock) Order, 1982, is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of this Order is to increase the levy payable to CBF on cattle and sheep slaughtered or exported live.
