APPRENTICESHIP ACT (DESIGNATED TRADE) (PRINTING TRADE) AMENDMENT ORDER, 1981. |

An Chomhairle Oiliúna, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 49 of the Industrial Training Act, 1967 ( No. 5 of 1967 ) hereby orders as follows:-- |
||||
1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Apprenticeship Act (Designated Trade) (Printing Trade) Amendment Order, 1981. |
||||
(2) The Apprenticeship Act (Designated Trade) (Printing Trade) (No. 2) Order, 1966 and this order may be cited together as the Apprenticeship Act (Designated Trade) (Printing Trade) Orders 1966 and 1981. |
||||
2. The Apprenticeship Act (Designated Trade) (Printing Trade) (No. 2) Order, 1966 is hereby amended by the insertion after the word “paper” in the last line of Article 2 thereof of the following:-- |
||||
“manufacturing cutting and creasing dies and manufacturing cartons therefrom by cutting, creasing, embossing, glueing and finishing paper and board”. |
||||
3. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of December, 1981. |
||||

The purpose of this Order is to bring the arrangements for the recruitment and training of apprentices in carton making under statutory control throughout the State. |
