S.I. No. 51/1981:

BROADCASTING AUTHORITY ACT, 1960 (SECTION 31) (No. 2) ORDER, 1981.

BROADCASTING AUTHORITY ACT, 1960 (SECTION 31) (No. 2) ORDER, 1981.

I, ALBERT REYNOLDS, Minister for Posts and Telegraphs in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 31 (1) of the Broadcasting Authority Act, 1960 (No. 10 of 1960) inserted by section 16 of the Broadcasting Authority (Amendment) Act, 1976 (No. 37 of 1976), hereby order as follows:--

1. This Order may be cited as the Broadcasting Authority Act, 1960 (Section 31) (No. 2) Order, 1981.

2. The Broadcasting Authority Act, 1960 (Section 31) Order, 1981 ( S.I. No. 21 of 1981 ), shall not apply to a broadcast, whether made before or after the commencement of this Order, of any part of the series of television programmes called "Ireland, A Television History" and written and presented by Robert Kee.

GIVEN under my Official Seal this 17th day of February, 1981.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order exempts the television series "Ireland, A Television History", from the scope of the Broadcasting Authority (Section 31) Order, 1981.
