S.I. No. 41/1981:

PACKAGED GOODS (QUANTITY CONTROL) ACT, 1980 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1981.

PACKAGED GOODS (QUANTITY CONTROL) ACT, 1980 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1981.

I, DESMOND O'MALLEY, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism, in exercise of the power conferred on me by Section 1 of the Packaged Goods (Quantity Control) Act, 1980 (No. 11 of 1980) hereby make the following order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Packaged Goods (Quantity Control) Act, 1980 (Commencement) Order, 1981.

2. The 1st day of April, 1981 is hereby fixed as the day on which the Packaged Goods (Quantity Control) Act, 1980 (No. 11 of 1980) shall come into operation.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 27th day of January, 1981.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order provides that the Packaged Goods (Quantity Control) Act, 1980 will come into force on 1st April, 1981.
