I, TOM FITZPATRICK, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 13 of the Customs-free Airport Act, 1947 (No. 5 of 1947) (as amended by section 11 of the Customs-free Airport (Amendment) Act, 1958 (No. 29 of 1958)) and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following regulations: |

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Customs-free Airport (Extension of Laws) (No. 2) Regulations, 1977. |
||
2. The Nuclear Energy (General Control of Fissile Fuels, Radioactive Substances and Irradiating Apparatus) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 166 of 1977 ), shall extend to the Customs-free Airport. |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |

The effect of these Regulations is to extend to the Customs-free Airport at Shannon the Nuclear Energy (General Control of Fissile Fuels, Radioactive Substances and Irradiating Apparatus) Order, 1977. |
