PROTECTION OF EMPLOYMENT ACT, 1977 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1977.

PROTECTION OF EMPLOYMENT ACT, 1977 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1977.

I, MICHAEL O'LEARY, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the power conferred on me by Section 1 (2) of the Protection of Employment Act, 1977 (No. 7 of 1977), hereby order as follows:--

1. This Order may be cited as the Protection of Employment Act, 1977 (Commencement) Order, 1977.

2. The 10th day of May, 1977 is hereby appointed to be the day on which the Protection of Employment Act, 1977 (No. 7 of 1977), shall come into operation.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 10th day of May, 1977.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order appoints 10th May, 1977 to be the day on which the Protection of Employment Act, 1977 (No. 7 of 1977) shall come into operation.
