MONEY ORDER AMENDMENT (No. 22) REGULATIONS, 1977. |

I, CONOR CRUISE O'BRIEN, Minister for Posts and Telegraphs, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 23 of the Post Office Act, 1908, and section 3 of the Post Office (Amendment) Act, 1969 (No. 18 of 1969), and with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following regulations : |

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Money Order Amendment (NO. 22) Regulations, 1977. |
||||||||||
2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1977. |
||||||||||
3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations. |
||||||||||
4. Regulations 18 (1) of the Money Order Regulations, 1903, is hereby amended by the substitution of the following table for Table A (inserted by Regulation 4 of the Money Order Amendment (No. 21) Regulations, 1975 ( S.I. No. 317 of 1975 )) which set out the poundage payable in respect of money orders : |

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||||||||||
This Warrant applies to the Money Order service and comes into operation on the 1st April, 1977. It authorises increases in charges on inland money orders. |
