I, TOM FITZPATRICK, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 13 of the Customs-free Airport Act, 1947 (No. 5 of 1947) (as amended by section 11 of the Customs-free Airport (Amendment) Act, 1958 (No. 29 of 1958)) and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ) with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following regulations: |

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Customs-free Airport (Extension of Laws) Regulations, 1976. |
||
2. (1) Subject to paragraph (2) of this Article the Control of Exports Order, 1976 ( S.I. No. 132 of 1976 ), other than Part II of the Schedule thereto, shall extend to the Customs-free Airport. |
||
(2) For the purposes of the extension of the Control of Exports Order, 1976, to the Customs-free Airport Part 1 of the Schedule to that Order is hereby amended by the deletion of "waste and scrap metal of iron and steel". |

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
The effect of these Regulations is to extend to the Customs-free Airport at Shannon the Control of Exports Order, 1976, exclusive of specified parts thereof. |
