WIRELESS TELEGRAPHY ACT, 1972 (APPOINTED DAY) ORDER, 1973.

WIRELESS TELEGRAPHY ACT, 1972 (APPOINTED DAY) ORDER, 1973.

I, GERARD COLLINS, Minister for Posts and Telegraphs, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 2 (4) of the Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1972 (No. 5 of 1972), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1972 (Appointed Day) Order, 1973.

2. The 1st day of March, 1973, is hereby appointed as the appointed day for the purposes of the Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1972 (No. 5 of 1972.)

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 8th day of February, 1973.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order appoints the 1st March, 1973 as the Appointed Day for the purposes of the Act. Television dealers must register with the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs not later than 30 days after this date.
