I, PATRICK J. LALOR, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6 of the Industrial Development Act, 1969 (No. 32 of 1969), and with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Order : |
||
1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Development Act, 1969 (Designated Areas) Order, 1972. |
||
2. This Order shall come into operation on the 28th day of July, 1972. |
||
3. The areas in the counties of Meath and Waterford for the time being determined to be Gaeltacht areas by order under section 2 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1956 (No. 21 of 1956), are hereby declared to be designated areas. |

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
The effect of this Order is to declare to be designated areas for the purposes of the Industrial Development Act, 1969 , the areas in the counties of Meath and Waterford which are classified as Gaeltacht areas, for as long as they shall be so classified. |
