S.I. No. 168/1969:

LAND BOND ACT, 1969 (SECTION 3) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1969.

LAND BOND ACT, 1969 (SECTION 3) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1969.

I, CHARLES J. HAUGHEY, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 3 (2) of the Land Bond Act, 1969 (No. 24 of 1969), hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Land Bond Act, 1969 (Section 3) (Commencement) Order, 1969.

2. The 1st day of October, 1969, is hereby appointed as the date on which section 3 of the Land Bond Act, 1969 (No. 24 of 1969), shall come into operation.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 29th day of August, 1969.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order appoints 1st October, 1969, as the date on which the registers of land bonds kept by Chase and Bank of Ireland (International) Limited (formerly National City Bank Limited) shall be transferred to the Bank of Ireland.
