S.I. No. 114/1966:

CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA NO. 28) (MISCELLANEOUS BRUSHES) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1966.

CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA NO. 28) (MISCELLANEOUS BRUSHES) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1966.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 11 of the Control of Imports Act, 1934 (No. 12 of 1934), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 28) (Miscellaneous Brushes) (Amendment) Order, 1966.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The Control of Imports (Quota No. 28) Order, 1936 ( S. R. & O. No. 16 of 1936 ), is hereby amended by the insertion after subparagraph (f) (inserted by the Control of Imports (Revocation of Quotas Nos. 26 and 27 and Amendment of Quota No. 28) Order, 1956 ( S.I. No. 25 of 1956 )), of the following:

" or,

(g) articles to which paragraph 3 of the Control of Imports (Quota No. 53) (Miscellaneous Brushes) Order, 1966 ( S.I. No. 116 of 1966 ), applies".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Instrument is to exclude from the scope of The Control of Imports (Quota No. 28) Order, 1936, brushes, brooms and mops which are completely or substantially manufactured and of a value of less than 30/- per dozen.
