EXCHANGE CONTROL (NO. 3) REGULATIONS, 1964.

I, SÉAMAS Ó RIAIN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 30 and 31 of the Exchange Control Act, 1954 (No. 30 of 1954), as continued by the Exchange Control (Continuance) Act, 1962 (No. 38 of 1962), hereby make the following regulations

1.--(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Exchange Control (No. 3) Regulations, 1964.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 30th day of November, 1964.

(3) The collective citation "the Exchange Control Regulations, 1959 to 1964" shall include these Regulations.

2. The Second Schedule to the Exchange Control Regulations, 1959 ( S.I. No. 44 of 1959 ) (inserted by the Exchange Control Regulations, 1964 ( S.I. No. 51 of 1964 )) is hereby amended by the insertion of "Malta" and "Zambia".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations amend the list of scheduled territories for the purposes of the Exchange Control Acts, 1954 to 1962, to take account of changes in status of the states mentioned ; the area covered by the title "scheduled territories" remains unchanged.
