STANDARD MARK (GENERAL) ORDER, 1964.

STANDARD MARK (GENERAL) ORDER, 1964.

I, JOHN LYNCH, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 24 of the Industrial Research and Standards Act, 1961 (No. 20 of 1961), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Standard Mark (General) Order, 1964.

2. The mark specified in the Schedule to this Order is hereby prescribed as the standard mark for use in connection with commodities, processes and practices generally to indicate conformity with a standard specification.

3. The Standard Mark (General) Order, 1954 ( S.I. No. 181 of 1954 ), is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
