S.I. No. 49/1964:

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SANITARY SERVICES) ACT, 1948 (SECTION 34) (URBAN DISTRICT OF AN UAIMH) ORDER, 1964.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SANITARY SERVICES) ACT, 1948 (SECTION 34) (URBAN DISTRICT OF AN UAIMH) ORDER, 1964.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sub-section (2) of section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (No. 3 of 1948) hereby orders as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (Section 34) (Urban District of An Uaimh) Order, 1964.

2. On the seventh day after the date of this Order section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 shall come into operation in the Urban District of An Uaimh.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to bring section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 into operation in the Urban District of An Uaimh. Section 34 authorises a sanitary authority to grant to the occupier of land, or with the consent of the occupier to a camping organisation, a licence authorising the use, during a specified period of twelve consecutive months, of land for camping.
