COMPANIES (RECOGNITION OF COUNTRIES) ORDER, 1964.

I, JOHN LYNCH, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 250 , 367 , 388 and 389 of the Companies Act, 1963 (No. 33 of 1963), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Companies (Recognition of Countries) Order, 1964.

2. Northern Ireland and Great Britain are hereby recognised for the purposes of sections 250 and 367, and prescribed for the purposes of sections 388 and 389, of the Companies Act, 1963 .

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 2nd day of March, 1964.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of this Order is to afford recognition to Northern Ireland and Great Britain for the purposes of certain provisions of the Companies Act, 1963 .
