CEMENT ACT, 1933 (TRANSPORT WORKS) (RAILWAY) ORDER, 1938 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1963.

CEMENT ACT, 1933 (TRANSPORT WORKS) (RAILWAY) ORDER, 1938 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1963.

I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 30 of the Cement Act, 1933 (No. 17 of 1933), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Cement Act, 1933 (Transport Works) (Railway) Order, 1938 (Amendment) Order, 1963.

2. The Cement Act, 1933 (Transport Works) (Railway) Order, 1938 ( S.R. & O. No. 22 of 1938 ), is hereby amended by the substitution for paragraph (1) of Article 8 of the following paragraph:

"(1) The railway may be used for all purposes relating to--

(i) the business of the Company, and

(ii) the business of any subsidiary or associated company of the Company,

and for no other purposes".

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 2nd day of December, 1963.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of the Order is to extend the user of the railway constructed under the Cement Act, 1933 (Transport Works) (Railway) Order, 1938.
