S.I. No. 187/1963:

FISHERIES (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) (No. 2) ORDER, 1963.

FISHERIES (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) (No. 2) ORDER, 1963.

The Government, at the request of the Minister for Lands and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsection (1) of section 9 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows:--

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Fisheries (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order, 1963.

(2) The collective citation "the Fisheries (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Orders, 1961 and 1963" shall include this Order.

2. The statutory powers and duties of the Minister for Lands specified in the Schedule to this Order are hereby delegated to Brian Joseph Lenihan, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Lands.

SCHEDULE.

The powers and duties of the Minister for Lands under each of the following Acts:--

(a) Sea Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1963 (No. 21 of 1963).

(b) Finance Act, 1963 (No. 23 of 1963).

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government, this 8th day of October, 1963.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order delegates to the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Lands the powers and duties of the Minister for Lands in relation to fisheries under two recent Acts.
