S.I. No. 173/1963:

JURY DISTRICTS (COUNTY KILDARE) ORDER, 1963.

JURY DISTRICTS (COUNTY KILDARE) ORDER, 1963.

I, CHARLES J. HAUGHEY, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 of the Juries Act, 1927 (No. 23 of 1927), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Jury Districts (County Kildare) Order, 1963.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of September, 1963.

3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

4. The county of Kildare is hereby divided into two jury districts which shall be known, respectively, as Jury District No. 1 (Naas), and Jury District No. 2 (Athy).

5. Jury District No. 1 (Naas) shall consist of the district electoral divisions of Ballymore Eustace, Ballynadrumny, Ballysax East, Ballysax West, Balraheen, Bodenstown, Cadamstown, Carbury, Carnalway, Carragh, Carrick, Celbridge, Clane, Cloncurry (Celbridge), Cloncurry (Edenderry), Donadea, Donaghcumper, Donore, Downings, Drehid, Droichead Nua Rural, Droichead Nua Urban, Dunfierth, Dunmurry, Feighcullen, Kilcock, Kilcullen, Kildare, Kill, Killashee, Killinthomas, Kilmeage North, Kilmeage South, Kilpatrick, Kilrainy, Kilteel, Ladytown, Leixlip, Lullymore, Maynooth, Morristownbiller, Naas Rural, Naas Urban, Newtown, Oldconnell, Oughterard, Pollardstown, Rathangan, Rathernan, Rathmore, Robertstown, Straffan, Thomastown, Timahoe North, Timahoe South, Windmillcross, all in the county of Kildare.

6. Jury District No. 2 (Athy) shall consist of the district electoral divisions of Athy Rural, Athy East Urban, Athy West Urban, Ballaghmoon, Ballitore, Ballybracken, Ballyshannon, Belan, Bert, Burtown, Carrigeen, Castledermot, Churchtown, Dunmanogue, Fontstawn, Gilltown, Graney, Grangemellon, Harristown, Inchaquire, Johnstown, Kilberry, Kildangan, Kilkea, Kilrush, Lackagh, Monasterevan, Moone, Narraghmore, Nurney, Quinsborough, Skerries, Usk, all in the county of Kildare.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order divides County Kildare into two Districts from which Jurors may be called to respective Courts.
