LOUGH CORRIB NAVIGATION ACT, 1945 (SECTION 13) ORDER, 1963.

LOUGH CORRIB NAVIGATION ACT, 1945 (SECTION 13) ORDER, 1963.

I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 13 of the Lough Corrib Navigation Act, 1945 (No. 37 of 1945), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), and on the application of the Lough Corrib Navigation Trustees, hereby order as follows :

1.--(1) This Order may be cited as the Lough Corrib Navigation Act, 1945 (Section 13) Order, 1963.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 28th day of January, 1963.

2. The Lough Corrib Navigation Trustees may abandon the portion of the Navigation and the works forming part thereof described in the Schedule to this Order.

Claddagh Bridge and the Navigation thereunder.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 14th day of January, 1963.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of this Order is to authorise the Lough Corrib Navigation Trustees to abandon the Claddagh Bridge and the Navigation thereunder on the Eglinton Canal at Galway.
