S.I. No. 26/1962:

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SANITARY SERVICES) ACT, 1948 (SECTION 34) (URBAN DISTRICT OF BUNCRANA) ORDER, 1962.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SANITARY SERVICES) ACT, 1948 (SECTION 34) (URBAN DISTRICT OF BUNCRANA) ORDER, 1962.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sub-section (2) of section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (No. 3 of 1948) hereby orders as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (Section 34) (Urban District of Buncrana) Order, 1962.

2. On the seventh day after the date of this Order Section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 shall come into operation in the Urban District of Buncrana.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Local Government this twentieth day of February One Thousand Nine Hundred and Sixty-two.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to bring section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 , into operation in the Urban District of Buncrana. Section 34 authorises a sanitary authority to grant to the occupier of land, or with the consent of the occupier to a camping organisation, a licence authorising the use during a specified period of twelve consecutive months of land for camping.
