S.I. No. 90/1961:

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SANITARY SERVICES) ACT, 1948 (SECTION 34) (COUNTY HEALTH DISTRICT OF MEATH) ORDER, 1961.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SANITARY SERVICES) ACT, 1948 (SECTION 34) (COUNTY HEALTH DISTRICT OF MEATH) ORDER, 1961.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (2) of section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (No. 3 of 1948) hereby orders as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (Section 34) (County Health District of Meath) Order, 1961.

2. On the seventh day after the date of this Order, section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 , shall come into operation in the County Health District of Meath.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Local Government this twenty-seventh day of April One Thousand Nine Hundred and Sixty-one.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to bring section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 into operation in the County Health District of Meath.

Section 34 authorises a sanitary authority to grant to the occupier of land, or with the consent of the occupier, to a camping organisation, a licence authorising the use during a specified period of twelve consecutive months of land for camping.
