EXPORT PROMOTION ACT, 1959 (ESTABLISHMENT DAY) ORDER, 1959.

EXPORT PROMOTION ACT, 1959 (ESTABLISHMENT DAY) ORDER, 1959.

I, JOHN LYNCH, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 2 of the Export Promotion Act, 1959 (No. 20 of 1959), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Export Promotion Act, 1959 (Establishment Day) Order, 1959.

2. The 1st day of September, 1959, is hereby appointed to be the establishment day for the purposes of the Export Promotion Act, 1959 (No. 20 of 1959).

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 26th day of August, 1959.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to appoint the 1st day of September, 1959, to be the date on which Córas Tráchtála will be established as a Statutory Board to carry on the functions of promoting, assisting and developing exports hitherto carried on by Córas Tráchtála Teoranta, which, on the same date, will be dissolved and will have its property and liabilities transferred to Córas Tráchtála.
