SOLICITORS' REMUNERATION GENERAL ORDER, 1957 (DISALLOWANCE) ORDER, 1957. |

WHEREAS the Solicitors' Remuneration General Order, 1957 ( S.I. No. 199 of 1957 ), has been laid before Seanad Éireann and Seanad Eireann has within one month thereafter passed a resolution stating that Seanad Éireann was of opinion that the said Order should be disallowed and requested the Government to disallow it : |

NOW, the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by virtue of section 6 of the Solicitors Remuneration Act, 1881, sections 5 and 10 of the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 (No. 2 of 1922), section 2 of the Executive Powers (Consequential Provisions) Act, 1937 (No. 20 of 1937), and section 4 of the Constitution (Consequential Provisions) Act, 1937 (No. 40 of 1937), and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows : |

1. This Order may be cited as the Solicitors' Remuneration General Order, 1957 (Disallowance) Order, 1957. |
||
2. The Solicitors' Remuneration Order, 1957 ( S.I. No. 199 of 1957 ), is hereby disallowed. |
||

This Instrument disallows the Solicitors' Remuneration General Order, 1957 ( S.I. No. 199 of 1957 ), made by the body in that behalf authorised by the Solicitors Remuneration Act, 1881, as adapted by the Solicitors' Remuneration Act, 1881, Adaptation Order, 1946 ( S. R. & O. No. 208 of 1946 ), and laid before Dail Eireann and Seanad Éireann. |
