AGRICULTURAL AND FISHERY PRODUCTS (REGULATION OF EXPORT) ACT, 1947 (EXPORT OF POULTRY AND RABBITS) ORDER, 1950 (TEMPORARY AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1957.

AGRICULTURAL AND FISHERY PRODUCTS (REGULATION OF EXPORT) ACT, 1947 (EXPORT OF POULTRY AND RABBITS) ORDER, 1950 (TEMPORARY AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1957.

I, SEÁN MOYLAN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (No. 18 of 1947), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (Export of Poultry and Rabbits) Order, 1950 (Temporary Amendment) Order, 1957.

2. So much of clause (i) of paragraph (c) of Article 10 of the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (Export of Poultry and Rabbits) Order, 1950 ( S.I. No. 302 of 1950 ), as requires dead poultry which are exported to have been killed on the premises to which the export licence relates shall, subject to the exporter having made application in that behalf to the Minister for Agriculture and having given to that Minister such undertakings as he may require, not apply with respect to turkeys which are exported on or before the 31st day of January, 1958.

Explanatory Note.

The Order provides that licensed poultry exporters may, on application, be granted exemption, in respect of dead turkeys exported during the period ending 31st January, 1958, from the requirement that all dead poultry exported must have been killed on the licensed poultry premises.
